Agriculture is one of the largest sectors of the economy and a major source of long-term employment in Canada, providing jobs for millions of foreign workers and Canadian citizens.
The Canadian government recognizes the importance of the agricultural sector in Canada and has therefore increased its efforts to attract farmers to Canada this year.
This career field provides people with a variety of food, industrial raw materials, and alternative energy, among many other important resources that sustain the country in perpetuity and contribute to the global economy.
Indeed, there is no better time to start a career in Canadian agriculture, especially if you have a passion for it or want to pursue a career in agriculture. Gone are the days when a career in agriculture was just about toiling under the sun and waiting for your farm produce to grow.
Today, the trend has evolved in so many ways that tremendous opportunities have arisen over time, offering immigrants, new college graduates, and others a variety of job options.
